The new Gleaner Silver series rotary and conventional combines offer the customer the best harvester money can buy. The rotary combines have been around for over 75 years, and they have only gotten better over time. An exclusive feeding system and natural flow of material feeds crop through the combine in a quick and smooth fashion. Unlike other rotary combines the crop never has to change directions while feeding into the processor of the combine. Also exclusive to the Gleaner combines is the use of accelerator rolls to evenly distribute grain across the grain pan for less loss on sloping terrain. The new combines have the largest grain bins for each class, which allows you to be more productive with less frequent unloading. Now you can also choose whether you want the standard swivel or optional turret style unloading auger system. The turret style unloading system will allow for additional clearance when needed. The new Gleaner combines are also comfortable. Air-ride seat, lumbar support, adjustable arm rest, and a passenger seat are a few comforts to a long list that make the new Gleaner combines a pleasure to drive. The new ComforTech cab is also safe, with a safety switch to shutdown the processor and header 6 seconds after leaving the seat of the combine. The new cabs are also Fieldstar ready. The Gleaner combines come equipped with Cummins diesel engines, which are known to be one of the toughest engines built, and at 330 hp in the R72 you will know you won't be lacking in power. You also have the option to get your new combine equipped with auto header tilt and height. The header tilt will allow you to get crop on slopes that you would normally miss in a level land combine. If you are to worried about the Gleaner combine being a level land combine and you work in hilly terrain, don't worry, you can now turn your Gleaner combine into a hillside combine with an after market leveling system built by Hillco. Another nice new feature in the new Gleaner combines is now the galvanized steel is painted over with a silver metallic, high-gloss, urethane paint. This will keep your combine looking great for years to come. |
